Congratulations!  You have that fresh newbie energy, that sparkle in your eye, and that bounce in your step.  Your friends and family can see that you’re excited, and you’re telling everyone you know about the great opportunity you’ve found.

You may find it odd that some people don’t share the same enthusiasm that you do, but that’s okay. They haven’t discovered what you have, and it’s something special that you feel deep down inside you.The best part is that you know you can do it.

Okay, so you’re just about ready to burst!

New Consultant

Let’s put that energy to work for you by examining what you want from your business.

Really think about it.

What do you want this month, next month, in six months, a year, five years?  “Wow!”, you may be thinking, “I can check on that stuff as I go, but I’m anxious to get started now.”

Resist that feeling.  Don’t cut corners; take the time to figure out what you want.

Create New Consultant Goals

You can always adjust it later.  For now, stop and really examine what you want.

  • Are your goals doable in the time frame that you suggested?
  • How much time can you devote to your business in a day, a week, this month?

This may change–and most likely will several times.  But start with what you know you can do, what you can absolutely commit to doing and then you can build up from there.

This is an exciting time.

In fact, you may be the one in your new organization that revitalizes it!  One of the biggest reasons why people give up after an exciting start is that they didn’t take the time to make a plan and write it down and build from it.

Can you take a little time to write down your goals and plans?

Can you find a place to look at them every day?
Now…go get ‘em!
