Press Release:
Leading business agency, the Direct Selling World Alliance (DSWA.org), is excited to announce the addition of industry executive, Angelo Rossi, to its extensive board of expert coaches, trainers and consultants. Rossi’s more than 30 years of experience earned him executive titles with AVON, one of the largest direct sales companies around the globe. The new partnership with DSWA will deliver Rossi’s executive skills to the members of DSWA’s Direct Selling Corporate Services Program.
Through this program, the DSWA is committed to a host of entrepreneurs ranging from budding to established companies. The company serves as a consulting partner throughout the entire lifecycle of business development ranging from initial idea development to the challenges facing today’s veteran companies. Some of the DSWA’s main areas of support include internal team development, external talent recruitment, management team mentoring and coaching, development of training and coaching programs, convention speaking and training, interim executive positions, as well as financial advice including building P&Ls and sourcing sales.
The DSWA’s roster of clients includes internationally recognized AVON, Mary Kay, USANA Health Sciences, Arbonne, Thirty-One Gifts, Stream Energy, Immunotec and Vorwerk.
To continue to provide the best consultation experience for its members, the DSWA harnessed the talents of Rossi. Among this veteran’s extensive list of accolades, Rossi led Avon US to then-record sales levels in 2003-2005, as well as the implementation of Avon’s direct selling model in China in 2006. He was also responsible for the definition and execution of a consistent field management process, global sales compensation strategy and global talent development in his various roles.
“It’s my objective to serve not only as a sounding board but as a valued advisor to DSWA members,” says Rossi. “Some of the biggest challenges facing today’s direct sales companies include talent development, guiding senior management toward better perspective, overcoming growth impediments and staying true to core vision and values. I’m passionate about helping entrepreneurs succeed and have experienced my own set of challenges that will best help me serve the DSWA members.”
Rossi holds a BA in Journalism from Rutgers University and an M.Ed in Secondary Guidance Counseling from the University of Delaware.
