The beginning of your message is the most important. You should be witty and interesting. You should give a few teasers before your finish.
  2. Keep it short and simple. A good message should be between 30 and 45 seconds. You can pack crucial pieces of information into that timeframe. Don’t try to say everything; hit one or two important points during your message.
  3. Create a sense of urgency. Don’t let your prospects think they have all the time in the world to return your call. Let them know that the window of time may be closing. Give the impression that your business is booming and you are busy filling orders and makings sales.
  4. Be confident. Don’t hesitate, pause or repeat. Don’t stumble over your words. Having a script is one trick to make leaving messages easier.
