John Hackett, Ed.D.

John is an accomplished and experienced coach, trainer, and leader in a variety of nonprofit and direct sales settings. John has 45 years of professional experience serving as professor, licensed counselor, and high school administrator, as well as a university administrator.
John has also served as a leader in social service agencies, church, and hospital settings. John has been a Certified Addictions Counselor and Outdoor Education Instructor. He has trained, coached, and consulted with school districts, universities, social service agencies, and churches. John also served as a trainer and coach with the William Glasser Institute working with educators to develop healthy, respectful school cultures. He has also been an active trainer and coach with his wife’s direct sales team.
John has earned numerous degrees and certifications including a doctorate in counselor education and psychology. John was recognized as the 1990 Teacher of the Year in Community Consolidated High School District 230. He is the only counselor to ever receive this distinction. In 1991, John was awarded the Illinois State Board of Education Award of Excellence and nominated to the Illinois State University Hall of Fame. John currently teaches Doctoral level leadership classes focusing on servant leadership, coaching and relationship building.
