Opening Workshop

Our primary goal at Coach Excellence is to assist you in acquiring the necessary skills to become a confident coach serving those you coach with principles, techniques and practices that will lead them to their goals.

In order to help your clients achieve success, you must engage in the necessary personal development that will make coaching feel like second nature. As your personal growth and skills increase, so will your capacity to influence those you coach.

• Learn the history of coaching and how it has evolved into a highly respected profession. • Discover your communication style and strengths. • Utilize effective dialogue that adapts to the client's language.	• Understand the techniques that help others change their perceptions • Develop the skills you will need to challenge others in an environment of trust • Learn what motivates action and commitment without using force or artifice	• Prioritize your commitments and coaching sessions to optimize productivity. • Structure your coaching sessions to maximize the benefits of the time spent together. • Find out how to create focus and excitement in others as you coach.

Personal Coaching

Immediately following the three day workshop, enrollees in the program will receive personal coaching. Because we understand the value of coaching has in creating the “stickiness” factor, we feel it is imperative that you have a Mentor Coach to build your confidence and offer compassionate feedback for improvement. Your Mentor Coach will help you master the art and technique of great coaching.

Just in Time Resource Coaching

Immediately following the three day workshop, enrollees in the program will have unlimited access to our Resource Coaching. As you practice your coaching skills in real time, you will find the Just in Time Resource Coaching a helpful source to work through situations. For example, you may want to review a coaching session with one of your clients that did not go as planned, or receive support in challenging, Heart-Centered Listening, or reinforce a learned skill such as the “all or nothing” thinking model.

Enrollees will participate in interactive webinars on a variety of topics that are consistent with credentialing requirements. Click here to review the webinar topics. General categories for training include: Skills for Excellence, Coaching Professionalism, Content Coaching, Coaching Cupboard, Personal Excellence, Managing a Coaching Business, and Coaching Proficiency. Graduation Requirements

The following requirements must be compete for graduation from the DSWA Coach Excellence Center.

Attend Coach Excellence three-day live workshop.

Attend 12 half-hour sessions with your Mentor Coach and complete all of the agreed actions in that partnership.

Attend all webinar courses in the Coach Excellence program.

Successfully pass all six Coaching Proficiency role plays. You may attend as many Coaching Proficiency webinar sessions as you like but you must receive a “pass” from the instructor on each specific coaching skill.

Complete the final written assessment. Once you have completed the first four of the above requirements, contact Neil Phillips to confirm your status and complete the final written assessment.

Once you have completed all five of the above requirements, you will receive a graduation certificate suitable for framing, and certification seals in various format so that you may proudly display the fact that you are a DSWA Certified Coach.
